Creature From The Black Lagoon
This horror classic was partially filmed in Jax and was one of the films to be shot in 3D. In certain parts of the film, a popular restaurant called The Lobster House can be seen.
The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking
This film which was adapted from the popular children’s books was shot partially at the WJCT soundstage in Jacksonville.
Like Dandelion Dust
This independent film based on a Karen Kingsbury novel was shot entirely in Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra.
This war drama which stars Colin Farrell was shot partially in Jax. A shot in the alley behind The Florida Theater is the most memorable one.
A majority of this film which stars Demi Moore was shot in Jax.
The Devil’s Advocate
This 1997 mystery drama which revolves around a Florida lawyer was also shot partially in Jax. It stars Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino.
