Sicily, the crossroads of many cultures and civilizations is an enchanting land  that has been visited by Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Normans, Swabians, the French and the Spanish. They have all left traces that bear witness to their rich artistic and historical past.  Even today one can still admire the lasting presence left by these civilizations in the Greek temples, the Roman mosaics, the majestic Arab-Norman buildings, or one can savor the arabesque feeling that pervades the local open-air markets throughout the island.

Sicily is art, passion and culture. To cross Sicily today means to discover and relive thousands of years of civilization, history and European culture and much more.
